Jeff’s Place

We call it Jeff’s Place, but you can call it YOURS, for the duration of your vacation!  This camp is a totally remodeled 1950s camp in Pocahontas County, on the banks of the Greenbrier river.  It was in the same family until 2009 and our hopes are to maintain the good vibes.  Your stay here should bring lasting memories for you and your family.  This is an ideal location in Seebert, with Watoga State Park at our back door!

Jeff's Place is located right on the banks of the Greenbrier River!

The things folks seem to like best about this property is its location and character. We are right on the river and only 1/2 mile from the Seebert Trailhead, for easy access to biking, hiking, and skiing on the Greenbrier River Trail. Our property offers places to relax inside as well as outside on the new patio. We have central heating and air conditioning, along with a woodburning fireplace. You can explore all parts of the county and retreat back to Jeff’s Place where you will find whatever you need for your comfort. The cabin’s recent renovation included a complete new kitchen with good water, new wiring, new plumbing, and new insulation, making this old, 1950′s camp ever so wonderful again. The beauty of the area is awesome, so start your day having coffee by the river and listening to the birds bring the day to life. Sit by the fire at night or start one in the morning and enjoy it all day, cooking your favorite foods. Mainly,  the point is to have fun and relax, whatever you decide to do while you’re here!

The Greenbrier River is perfect for fishing, canoeing, kayaking or just sitting in the water relaxing!  Jack Horner’s Corner, across the river from us, sells everything from bait to pizza and beer to ice and also rents bikes and boats and provides shuttles for both. We chose this spot because of the outdoor experience that it offers in addition to it’s beauty. We’ve visited places out west that claim to be the “last great place,” but once you visit us, I think you’ll disagree with them and come to our conclusion that we’re the last great place! Come and enjoy Jeff’s Place and see why West Virginia’s slogan is wild and wonderful!
